2013 The Latest News

Canterbury Stables has had a very successful start to the 2013 Show Season. Kimberley Asher travelled to dressage at Saratoga Springs NY in May with her dressage horses and was awarded a Bronze medal by the USDF. Her pre gelding, Polka, received both qualifying scores necessary to compete at the Regionals –third level.

Kimberley will be competing at Stockade in Scotia, NY on June 28-30, 2013. Then on following Sunday she will be headed to Smoke Tree Farm in Baldwinsville NY with students for a successful First Classic Series Show. Congratulations to Kate Welder, Mackenzie Usborne, Brianna Conway, and Sophia Wojcik for a job well done. We will be heading to Hamburg NY next for Buffalo Showtime III on June 22-23.

Pony Camp starts very soon and is filling up quickly. As always you are welcome to call for a tour and join us this summer. Call (315) 440-2244.

Canterbury Stables Equine Scholarship

Canterbury Stables LLC provides $2,500 equine scholarships for one third-year and one fourth-year student in the Morrisville State College Equine Science and Management degree program. The application requires demonstration of a strong work ethic as well as a formal application process handled by the college administration. Students not currently enrolled, but planning to attend the Equine Studies Program may also apply.
